Non-Invasive Procedures

Hey Beautiful!

Today I’m going to talk about non-invasive (non-surgical) procedures! Personally, I could give 2 shits about people who are anti plastic surgery. “Beauty is skin deep. You should age naturally and gracefully…”

No one gives a shit about your opinion (just being honest).

Me personally, I am all for them and I can’t wait to get some when it’s time. Not everyone ages well thanks to genetics (shoutout to my ancestors and genetics though because the track record is looking stellar!) and environmental factors, so these procedures can help you age more confidently, or even fix something you just don’t like about yourself. A common misconception is that people get procedures for others and that is most certainly not always the case. Whatever I get, I get for ME because I like to look my best. If someone doesn’t want to look like an organic avocado that was left in the desert or have tits that they can use as a makeshift necktie, and you can afford it, then there is no shame in fixing yourself!

Here are a few non-invasive procedures that are becoming more and more popular and that you may not have heard of:

Facial Contouring:

Generally, a combination of several elements to add volume and balance to the face while smoothing out wrinkles and tightening sagging skin is implemented. The various parts of a non-surgical facelift can include:

  • Laser treatments

  • Dermal Fillers (Kybella, Juvederm, Radisse, etc.)

  • Botox

  • Fat Injections (your own fat)

Depending on the type of method(s) used, local anesthesia (numbing of sites, but still completely awake and aware!) can be used to minimize any discomfort. One of the greatest advantages of a non-surgical facelift is that it delivers stunning results without the need for downtime. Most patients will be able to return to their daily lives almost immediately. For some patients, there can be minor redness or swelling near the injection sites. However, this is easily managed and should disappear within a couple days. How long any of these treatment lasts are dependent upon your body and treatment(s) used. It is reported to last 6 -18months. The results are instant.

Costs: $600 USD - $4,500 USD

PDO Thread Lifts

Areas treated:

  • Jowls

  • Neck

  • Jaw line

  • Nasolabial folds (lines along your inner cheek)

  • Nose

  • Crow’s feet

  • Under Eye area

  • Eyebrows

  • Cheeks

  • Marionette lines

PDO threads themselves have been used safely for decades for various applications, like treating gynecological disorders or suturing incisions after medical procedures. When used as an aesthetic treatment, there are a few things you should know. First, it mechanically results in instant skin lifting. Second, it contracts fat tissue to result in instant skin tightening. Third, it promotes collagen production and neovascularization to renew your skin at the cellular level. One of the pros about this treatment is it only takes 15 to 30 minutes. After that, you’re free to go back to work or whatever else you had scheduled for the rest of your day.

Before treatment starts, we will apply a topical numbing agent and local anesthetic to the treatment site. The needle used during this treatment is so fine it will not cause any pain. However, we provide anesthesia to ensure you feel no discomfort during the treatment. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, the PDO threads are inserted via blunt tip needles, called cannulas. Once inserted into the appropriate layer of skin, they act as anchors as the skin is lifted upwards. Then, the excess threads are removed. There are several types of PDO threads, and each serves its own unique purpose. Therefore, multiple thread types may be used during the procedure. Utilization of the correct types of PDO thread(s) is lucrative to the success of your procedure. Besides the distinct difference in shape, PDO threads come in varying types (length, thickness, etc.) results are instant.

Liquid Rhinoplasty:

A liquid rhinoplasty (nose job) is the injection of dermal fillers into the nose to alter its shape. It's a great option for patients that have isolated deformities of their nose, such as a dorsal hump or minor asymmetries. I have personally had this done and I did notice a difference in my nose shape. I would recommend going to a provider who is comfortable doing these on various ethnicities because not all noses are alike, and your ethnicity does factor into your nose shape. The results are instant and can last 12-18 months depending on your body. I was about 8 months in, and I banged the living shit out of my nose. The pain was excruciating. I probably called on Sky Daddy at least 5 times and dropped about 30 “F” bombs. My results significantly diminished after that, so watch that face!

Costs: $600 USD - $1,500 USD

(Varies depending on location)

These are just a few procedures available. Of course, you should thoroughly research anyone who will be performing any type of procedure on your body. Awake or not. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your due diligence and RESEARCH! Nothing should be done by anyone who isn’t a licensed medical professional. Look up reviews, check for sanctions, etc. If something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. A great site that I like to reference is https://www.realself.com. Great advice, real reviews and experiences as well. Have you ever had or are considering procedures? Let me know below.

With love,
